It’s Thursday

The sun is shining

And I am thankful

For many things

Sunday at the lake

Kayaking with my husband

Dinner with fabulous friends

Sweet potato chips

Robins singing their spring songs

Glimpses of green creeping out

Promises of more to come

Jump ropes

Footballs

Outdoor recess

Rolled down windows

Country music

Impromptu performances

Jacketless walks

For much more

And I am thankful

The sun is shining
